UNIVERSAL CARE GROUPS
AN OPPORTUNITY YOU MAY NOT KNOW YOU'RE MISSING
UCG helps employers unlock savings available within their payroll while giving employees and their families greater access to healthcare, and the potential to take home more in every paycheck.
It’s a different way to think about employee benefits: creating more value for your people while creating more value for your business.
UCG Health Benefits is designed to create value on both sides of your business, helping eligible employees access meaningful healthcare benefits while creating potential payroll-tax savings for your organization.
And it starts with a provision already built into the tax code: Section 125.
THE FINANCIAL MECHANISM
Section 125 has been part of the Internal Revenue Code since 1978, providing the legal and financial framework that allows employers to offer qualified benefits on a pre-tax basis
UCG puts this established structure to work for your organization. Rather than being the program itself, Section 125 acts as the financial engine-helping reduce taxable payroll while funding comprehensive healthcare benefits and driving potential increases in employee take-home pay.
A Complete Healthcare Program, Built on Smart Financials.
UCG Health Benefits is a comprehensive program designed to give your people greater access to everyday, preventive, and in-person care. Behind the scenes, it utilizes an established Section 125 framework to unlock payroll savings for your business, meaning you can offer more to your workforce without increasing your operating budget.
Your existing major medical coverage can remain in place.
UCG guides your organization through implementation, payroll coordination and testing, employee communication and launch.
ALREADY OFFER MAJOR MEDICAL? THAT'S EXACTLY THE POINT.
Your major medical plan can continue doing what it does best. UCG gives you another way to support your people, and potentially strengthen the financial picture for both your employees and your business.
Give your employees more, without taking more from your business.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
UCG puts this established tax structure to work in a way many employers may not realize is possible, helping reduce taxable payroll while providing employees with meaningful healthcare benefits and the potential for increased take-home pay.
And it doesn’t require you to replace what you’re already doing.
For employers that already offer major medical coverage, the UCG program can work alongside the existing plan, expanding the healthcare benefits available to employees and their families without requiring you to replace your current health plan.

WHAT COULD THIS MEAN FOR YOUR BUSINESS?
Even a modest savings per employee can add up to meaningful financial impact across an organization.
Using the Plan 1200 illustration of approximately $681.60 in annual net employer savings per participating employee, a company with 100 participating employees could see approximately $68,160 in annual savings, and that potential grows as participation increases.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
No. UCG is not designed to replace your existing major medical plan. Your current major medical coverage can remain completely in place. UCG works alongside your existing plan to add value around it, expanding everyday, preventive, virtual, and in-person healthcare benefits for employees and their families while creating potential payroll-tax savings for your business.
The program utilizes an established Section 125 tax structure to benefit eligible employees. It is designed to provide value across the workforce, supporting both businesses and their employees by providing access to everyday healthcare benefits alongside potential increases in take-home pay.
The program features $0 out-of-pocket employer cost for the included healthcare services and setup structure. In fact, rather than adding to your operating budget, the UCG program actually helps your business unlock potential recurring payroll-tax savings (averaging roughly $681+ in annual net employer savings per participating employee, depending on workforce size and participation).
The typical implementation timeframe takes 30 to 60 days. UCG handles the heavy lifting throughout the process, including plan setup, payroll coordination and testing, employee communication, enrollment, and launch.
The process flows through the following steps after you submit your request:
Explore (Initial Analysis): You share a few basic details about your organization (no detailed employee census required just to get started), and UCG prepares an initial analysis of your potential financial impact.
Review the Results: UCG walks through the analysis with you, explains how the program works, and answers your questions so you can evaluate the opportunity.
Build Your Detailed Projection: If you want to explore further, additional workforce and payroll information is gathered to create a tailored projection for your organization.
Implement: If you choose to move forward, UCG coordinates the 30–60 day implementation, including payroll setup, testing, and employee education.
Launch: Once testing is complete, the program goes live and employees can begin accessing their benefits.
